The three-year growth project for Severa reached its goal when the Norwegian company Visma acquired Severa in order to expand and strengthen their product range.
Severa’s growth has been the result of teamwork, which consisted of founders, management, external board members, a business angel and Comset’s knowledge investor team working hard together with Severa employees. Severa has also received international recognition and was the winner of the Red Herring 100 Global award in 2008 and placed fourth on the Deloitte Fast 50 list in 2010.

Company value is a comprehensive measure of performance regardless of the owner's objective.

Company value reflects the sum of all future cash flows and takes into account not only the scope and profitability of the operations but also other things that affect cash flow such as investments and the amount of money tied up in the operations. A growing company value = growing cash flows.
In case of an exit, a buyer of a company always buys expectations of future cash flows with which to pay for the acquisition. Between the buyer and the seller there is always a setting in which the seller is often more sure about future profit opportunities than the buyer. Therefore it is important that plans for the future are as carefully motivated as possible and supported by historical evidence.
In our valuation we use the cash flow based present value -method, which is always checked in terms of revenue, profit and margins by comparing the numbers to those of similar companies.
Our valuation is done by the independent company Inderes, which specializes in valuations. Inderes uses functional and tested models in their valuation and uses the same tools to produce an esteemed analysis for many significant actors within the finance industry.
