Oy Comset Ltd collects data of its webpage traffic on its webpages. Data of the user corresponding to the normal WWW-server log is recorded from the WWW – server in the following way:
- The IP-address of the user’s computer
- The user’s proxy server
- The user’s browser version, language settings, data compression, http version, identified data types.
- The operation system
- Path to the webpages
- Time stamp
- Downloaded files
These data are collected in order to provide information for Comset’s statistics, and thus it can develop its services and webpages to be more effective and correspond better to the purpose. Comset can publish statistics of the user of its server and of the above mentioned data. The above-mentioned data can personalise the pc of the user but not the user itself. Therefore the register is not a Personal Data Register which is described in the Personal Data Act
By using the www-pages made or published by Comset, the user gives one’s consent for collecting the above mentioned information as well as information mentioned in the privacy policy.

Register name: Comset address register
The purpose of the register: Comset uses the collected data for the purposes mentioned in the forms of the webpages, for example for contact purposes. Comset can also use e-mail addresses and names for direct marketing.
Data contents of the register: the name of the company, name, e-mail and telephone number of the contact person. Comset does not collect nor record the so-called sensitive data according to the 3rd chapter in the Personal Data Act. Other public information of the company can also be collected.
Sources of information: Comset collects information from the public address register and also via the contact or order forms of the webpages.
Access to the information: Comset does not grant access to the e-mail addresses or names recorded to the address register to third parties without a permission from the person concerned.
Principles of register protection: Comset protects the collected data so that in the normal data system user parties outside Comset do not have an access to confidential information.
Checking your personal details: Everyone has the right to know after declaring the necessary circumstances, which data concerning the person has been recorded to the address register, or that the register does not include data concerning the person. The person who wishes to use this right is obliged to show a proof of identity, and provide Comset a personally signed request to see this information. After providing these documents, the person has the access to the data listed in the 26th article of the Personal Data Act. If the previous check has been less than a year, Comset collects a fee for granting the data according to its pricelist.
